      Not sure if blogs can do as well with page rank as it use to in the past, the competition on Google has risen and it is tougher to garner exposure. A new way of generating traffic to your blog is to re-direct traffic from Facebook and You Tube. A good Facebook Fanpage or You Tube campaign can generate more traffic then Google or other search engines.
